There are more 5-star hotels in Krakow with a high score, so when we were deciding where to stay, we considered more options but I'm so happy we chose the Bonerowski! The location is a perfect 10, anything less than that score is ridiculous. You take one step outside and you're right on one of the most beautiful squares of the world, but at a quiet sidestreet. It doesn't come more central than this. Book the breakfast: you can eat it on the hotel's terrace and sit first row for the sights and the people. Besides the buffet there's a wide choice of a la carte items like shakshuka, fresh bagel with creamy avocado/salmon/rucola and a poached egg, or a french toast with caramelized edges with fresh fruit. Combine that with some freshly squeezed juice and nice Illy-coffee that is brought to you...and you feel like a millionaire. The hotel has less than 20 rooms, so you never feel like a number and both the rooms and the service have a feeling of individual luxury. We got an upgrade to the much bigger Luxury Suite on the top floor with a livingroom with couches, a diningtable and a bath in the livingroom, but also all the other rooms seemed very well equipped . Even though it was around 30 degrees Celsius, and our roof had windows, the airco kept everything cool. The room was very clean, had a lot of toiletries, sockets with USB-plugs, a little readingnook, everyday fresh supplies for the coffeemachine, and a nice bed. The romantic decor is not something I would copy at home, but for these few days it fit the atmosphere of Krakow and this historical building perfect! Yes: of course you can book cheaper rooms in Krakow and some people like standard hotels, but I'm glad we chose character and quality for the only short holiday we could plan this summer. Our stay at the Bonerowksi was an unforgettable experience.

Poems could be written about Kraków's Rynek Główny (there probably have), one of Europe's largest squares, and arguably the most beautiful. It's a landmark, a traffic node, a commercial hub, the seat of civic institutions, simply the city's focal point. Most of all, though, it is a stage, as of a grand theatre, or more fittingly, taken together with the hourly bugle calls of St. Mary's, the output of the various street artists and constant volume of general babylonian oral outpourings of its patrons, an opera. And it's enthralling - the exquisite Renaissance architecture of the guild halls, the manifold formations of visitor groups from all over the world exploring its space, the horse-darwn carriages with floor lighting looking like they've come to pick up the belle of the ball. And it's a place in which passers-by still move with a sense of reverence, contrary to squares like in, say, Wroclaw, which seem to have devolved into all-out party zones. The spectacle is neverending, and the box seat to take it all in is undoubtedly from the Bonerowski. The rooms are as spacious and furnishings lavish as is worthy of a five-star establishment, in the oriental style. The overall effect I can only describe as, well, intoxicating. One of the great European experiences.

Perfect location for exploring Kraków, we were visiting for the first time, and the hotel is right by the town square. The room was lovely, and had everything we needed. We stayed for two nights, and had breakfast both mornings. The selection was really good, and the food from the menu was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. On our first night, we ate in the hotels restaurant, which is the same space as the breakfast. We chose to eat indoors, but there was an outdoor option too. The food and wine selection was really good in the evening as well, we had their steak, plus we were able to try Goose Pierogi! We visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine too, which is about 30 minutes away in a taxi and cost about £10 one way. Well worth the visit! Bear in mind that due to the old town street layout, and one way system, it can be easier to pick up and drop off a few streets away from the hotel.

Excellent location on the Rynek, Krakow’s main square. The staff were excellent and were happy to transfer us to another room when we had a small problem on the first night of our four night stay.

Beautiful building in prime location on the main square facing the Cloth Hall. Stayed on first floor suite, lovely and clean, suite had very large lounge area and separate small bedroom. Staff were veryhelpful and friendly I would definately stay here again. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was good but you could only have one coffee which was lovely but one not enough.

The hotel is situated in an incredible location, right next to the Cracow’s Main Square and literally steps away from the iconic St. Mary’s Basilica. We opened the window to be able to hear the legendary trumpet call from the Basilica’s tower, which is being played every hour on the hour. The staff is very professional and friendly. The room was lovely and charming with a great attention to detail, quality finishes, historical touches and modern upgrades considering that the building itself dates back to 16th century. I loved the heavy, floral black out curtains which made the room dark and quiet at night. It truly is a special place.

Perfect location, right on the main square with a lovely terrace and yet remarkably quiet within room and so sleep quality good. Superbly furnished hotel, beautiful rooms, very clean, luxurious and comfortable. Breakfasts and dinner we had were very good as well as the service. Some staff smilier than others but all were attentive and helpful, and we noticed that this more formal style of service appears to be the norm in Krakow.

Breakfast was a wide array of local and international favorites just a little bit finer than all other breakfasts we had at restaurants on the Krakow town square, plus the hotel was right there in the thick of it. The older genial man working the entry some days was a charmer for sure always eager to help make our stay more pleasant. Thank you!!!

The Bonerowski Palace is a fantastic hotel in the heart of the Kraków, on the main square, within walking distance to the main attractions of the city. The hotel is situated in a wonderful old palace. The rooms are large, beautiful, quiet and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom products and shower are excellent. At breakfast, you have both a buffet and a menu. We recommend the Bonerowski Palace to everyone who wants an authentic Kraków athmosphere and luxury for their vacation.
